THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT ON AWARD AND FUNDINGV2X is growing! We have a contingent opportunity for a collaborative and highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our Systems Engineering team in Colorado Springs, CO supporting the Frequency Time Standard (FTS) project for the Ground Based Radar (GBR) Maintenance and Sustainment Services (GMASS) Task Order.
The Senior Systems Engineer will work within a multi-discipline team of engineers providing leadership and guidance to address our customer s needs by replacing the existing FTS subsystem.
Implementing current technology in the Upgraded Early Warning Radar (UEWR) architecture requires replacing obsolete FTS hardware with modern and sustainable hardware that improves resistance to existing and emerging threats to the Global Positioning System (GPS) information.
The Senior Systems Engineer provides program support by bringing their knowledge and skills to a hybrid development environment where waterfall and agile practices are combined to quickly bring feedback during the design, development, and testing of the new FTS.
Work is contingent upon award in 2023.
The ideal candidate has strong communication and team building skills and embraces modern development processes and techniques that improve product quality and team productivity.
We are looking for engineers that enjoy a challenge and have a passion to support our Department of Defense (DoD) customers.
The candidate must be familiar with the Systems Engineering lifecycle and have experience applying technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, processes, and techniques to solve problems.
ResponsibilitiesRequired Skills:
Minimum of 5 years of related engineering experience in systems, software, or hardware engineering.
Experience with requirements development, integration, and test.
Experience working with multi-discipline teams.
Strong communication skills and ability to effectively communicate to internal and external stakeholders.
Must be a U.

Citizen with the ability to obtain an Active DoD Secret Clearance.
QualificationsDesired Skills:
Experience with design, integration, and certification of embedded hardware and software subsystems, transitioning products from development to production, and obsolescence management.
Experience with development projects using an Agile Framework.
Experience as a Scrum Master and Product Owner using the Agile Framework.
Experience working with Frequency Time Standard systems and GPS.
Experience implementing M-Code Secure GPS.
Experience working with Ground Based radars.
Experience integrating DISA s Timing Synchronization Source Capability (TSSC).
timing with the FTS and derivative systemsExperience with mitigating hardware and software obsolescence issues.
Familiarity with project management including cost, schedule, supplier management, risk, and opportunity assessment.
Experience implementing performance requirements (i.

Experience creating Trade Studies and analyzing technical data.
Familiarity with Design to Unit Production Cost (DTUPC) and Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DFMA).
Experience using IBM DOORS Next Generation (DNG) and Rational Quality Manager (RQM) for requirements management and verification.
Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering methods, tools, and languages.
Experience working with government customers including the USAF and USSF.
Knowledge and experience working with Industry and Government Standards such as:
DO-160, MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-704, DO-254, DO-178, MIL-STD-1553, MIL-STD-1760, and Universal Armament Interface (UAI).
Fluent with Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, AccessExcellent communication skillsCurrent DoD Secret clearance.
